Nostalgia is a new word in my vocabulary... sad but true, because i like the word... NOSTALGIA!
Nostalgia is the feeling of sadness mixed with pleasure when one thinks of a happy period, moment, event earlier in ones life!
But what is the word for a negative nostalgia, like when you hear a song that reminds you of a sad moment, event or period of your live... Is there a proffessional word for that??
What makes me nostalgic are for example... icelandic chocolate easter eggs, my dad used to send me one every year to Sweden where I lived as a child... the song who let the dogs out was the theme song of my schooltrip to västerås 2001... the song Nakinn reminds me of my first girlfriend and the comics Bone reminds off my first boyfriend....
