I have finally arrived in Helsinki and what jumps into my face?...

A gay pride weekend! Yup gay pride Helsinki is this weekend so I will have to put on my usual clothes and go out! My phone doesnt work here so I havent found the other icelanders yet, only my room to sleep in.

I have found the ultimate solution for not having to pay for overweight on the airport...

Unfinished Story

I have been about to finish the story of me and Magnús and here it comes...

On a very sunny day we decided to go to London, woke up at 10am took the 11.15 train to Kings Cross and headed straight to the tube. Our first destination was the Queen's palace. We took some pictures and continued towards our next goal. We went to look for Madame Tussauds Wax Museum and had a quick lunch on the way. Madame Tussauds is just fabulous, wow, it even had a Big Brother Diary Room where our picture was taken(have I told you that I love Big Brother?).

After the wax museum we went to see Big Ben on the way to the London Eye. London Eye is very interesting but I think that if you go one time you don't need to go again. Once again we took the tube and went to see the homosexuals and the hookers in Soho, Brynja the Au Pair came and joined us there and we had a coke. Magnús wanted to see the Tower Bridge so we took a double decker there and walked over the huge bridge. By then the time was 10pm and we had to rush for Kings Cross to catch the train home.

The last thing we did in the big city was to take a photo of Magnús running into platform 9 3/4. We took the 11.15 train back to Cambridge. I seriously doubt that anyone has done as much of tacky tourist things during one day in London before...

Hot Sunday Morning

The first day of Maggi's holliday in Cambridge, we sweated and sweated, bought some allergy-tablets, bottled water and shorts for Maggi (size 12-year old (I actually use size 14-year old)). We walked allover town seeing the river Cam, the punts, red mail boxes, so many churches and old colleges. When we came home we watched Super-size Me and Maggi fell asleep at 2pm and slept until 6pm. In the evening Maggi got a taste of the UK Big Brother and we ate swedish style korvstroganoff.

Day two we walked even further had a pizza in the Cow for lunch and had barbecue and watched Big Brother Eviction where the transgender Sam got evicted from the Big Brother house, poor Sam. A 43 year old model came in instead with fake lips and plastic tits. There are now 7 women in the house and only two of them have 100% natural boobs! Isn't that amazing?

Yesterday was Saturday and we were determined to punt finally, I have lived here for 6 months now and never tried it. A punt is a kind of gondola, one stands on the back of the punt with a large stick pushing the punt forward up or down the river. Very much fun! First Gregor punted for a while... then I tried and I can admit that I a not a naturual but I learnt the basics. Maggi was next and he got us forward right away no problems but then the stick got stuck in the mud, he lost the balance and fell overboard! Haha it was very funny but unfortunatelly he was wearing all his outfit, a sports top, a t-shirt, pants and shorts. All wet and I stripped down to my swimming trunks and lent him my shorts. We stopped later for lunch before punting back, and by then we were all sun burnt and Maggi dying of hay fever, his eyes red as hell!

In the evening we went to the cinema seeing X-men 3, wow I loved it, not at all what I expected!!

Today sunday we are just chilling before going to the pool and I am so sunburnt I can hardly move!

He Has Arrived

Magnús has arrived and today we have walked all over Cambridge and s*it it´s hot in the UK today!

Big Brothers Little Brother

Magnús my little brother is coming to Cambridge to visit me on Thursday, I look very much forward to that. We will do everything between heaven and earth as long as it is fun, watch Big Brother, punt... and more and more!
