I don´t dare to put a picture here unless with aprove so it just have to wait...
Viva School

Last friday I finally sent in my school application. Am trying to get into advertising design or theatre design. The theatre design sounds more fun but I am sure the other one is just as fun...
Talking about fun, went as I told to Viva Cake, it was hillarious, almost EVERYONE had a costume and it was like coming into the Grease movie, marvellous, the girls had a ponytail with a slight curl in it, a simple dress and a blouse, small socks and girly shoes. The guys had their jeans legs folded up, a shirt and braces... don´t fooget the brylcreme hair style like Elvis... Crazy!
Talking about crazy, I am going to start a movie of the week thing, so those who watch the fims can slowly get to know me and my thoughts, almost like diving into my thought-pensieve.
This weeks film is Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain, I love this film and think I am quite like Amélie, I think too much sometimes and am hard to understand at all times.

Personal Statement
For the first three years of high school at
While at Akureyri School of Visual Art I went on a study trip to
While working at Kaffitar I enjoyed trying to make the things that didn’t sell quickly seem more desirable to customers, and trying to make people realise that things don’t always have to be used for the purposes they have traditionally be used for. This gave me a lot of satisfaction and I would like to learn more about it and do it professionally. I also competed in the Iceland Barista Championship, where competitors prepare several coffee drinks including a ‘signature’ drink which each competitor must create. You also choose a theme for your signature drink, and the crockery, menu and background music that accompany it. The judges liked the artistic element in my performance and how my Jamaican beach theme was strongly evident in the ingredients, crockery and music I selected. Creativity has been a rewarding aspect of my work. I enjoy thinking about how to present ideas and products, and I want to develop this.
My interests and hobbies include art, design, photography, theatre, films, music, reading, people, culture, languages, travelling, mythology, food and coffee. My interest in design goes back to my early childhood – I recall being intrigued by the adverts that were shown between cartoon shows on TV. This has developed, and today I’m interested in the ideas and designs used in movie posters, CD covers and the adverts that fill the pages in glossy fashion and design magazines. I’m a person who does judge a book by its cover, and I would love to design the things listed above - both the product itself and the advertisements used to promote it.
I’m inspired by artists who often use bold colours, opposites and strong images. One of my favourites, though he is primarily a film director, is Tim Burton. I like the way he makes things either very colourful or simply black and white – everything he does is so extreme. I also like the work of artists such as Frida Kahlo, Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Richard Hamilton, Peter Blake and Erro – all of whom use strong colours and feelings in their work.
Viva Cake
I am also trying to get into school and learn some crazy shit, I am so fed up with the application that it´s a wonder my computer is still alive.
I don´t have the spirit to write more right now, am pretty pissed off, so here you go!

Pabba Pizzur

A few years ago in the city of smoke, a bearded young boy(he must have been born with a beard, I´ve never seen him without one) was born on this very day. That young boy grew up to become a very good teacher and a great and I would say successful artist. A little more than 30 years later he and his at-the-moment fiancé had a son who would one day become a great orange barista and a bartender! Now he lives with his true love in the very small town Hólmavík.
Congratulations dad, enjoy your day!

In the late afternoon when I wake up...
The people at `B´ are starting to get better at latte art and were so surprised when I told them that Kaffitár does latte art in cappuccino and not café latte, hehe! One of the bartenders is so proud of his strange hearts he is now able to do that he runs to me every time he manages it and shows me, that same guy is the one who taught me to pour beer and do drinks, so we have our skills from each others. I really think I am a great bartender, I almost never have any difficulties with anything!
Det är konstigt med mej. Jag kan så mycke. Ja jag kan allting faktiskt. Fast det förståss...

Lazy Daisy
Well lets start with my trip to London to meet Dofri a few weeks ago to take him to the gay places, the thing is though that this was my first time too and Gregors second! Me and Gregor took the train from Cambridge at 18.00, when we arrived in London Dofri still was at Heathrow so we went to Soho to have a drink and found a gaybar full of strange guys and had a beer and a breezer. Later on we went to the hotel (sleeping factory) that Dofri had arranged for us and went to the bar there until Dofri came. The band playing there was hillarious but funny.
When Dofri had arrived and taken a shower and we had all put our best clothes on we went out for dinner and then later we went to a place I had picked from the internet that was like a gay Kaffibarinn club, I liked it 75% that is a lot for a gay club! Well then there isn´t much more to say, we drank danced and got hangover the next day, nothing unusual really. Me and Gregor went back and I had to work in the evening.
Otherwise working at `B´ goes very well, I had my bar training yesterday that went so well and I am now a bartender, barista and sushichef, now I just need more experience as a bartender and then I can open my own place! haha!
I am trying to work my way throug the winelist at `B´ so that I can answer questions about the wines on the list, I have tasted 3 one red, one white and the only rose wine. I really recommend Ruby Cabernet/Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot from Firefinch, South Africa It has a very round, dark taste almost like a chilly autumn and soft tasty berries, a delicious red wine!
Gregor is now in Sweden on a work trip, so I am just lazy at home, actually while I was tasting the wine at `B´ yesterday a strange couple of friends sat on the sofa across my table and begun talking to me. At first they seemed funny and cool but then they suddenly became so drunk or I think they must have been taking something else as well, and they became absolutely mental. They were both as brittis as a person in Cambridge can be, she half swedish and he half indian and half from Uganda, I have almost not met anyone that is pureblood brittish! He was absolutely a closet gay and she the typical funny, not girly dressing best friend. So funny, every gay man has a funny chilled best friend haven´t they... Árni, Bjartmar, Me i have several one in each harbour!
Be safe, don´t do stupid drugs!
P.S. The weather here is very british at the moment as you can see on my weather gnomes John and Bob, Bob keeps changing clothes and has a dod sometimes, John is pretty dull. I love the rain but people here have probably never tried getting rained on everyone has an umbrella!!
